ICT Security Consultancy - Day to day analysis and consultancy
Methods has proven capability in ICT Security planning and design consultancy, and has supported public and private sector clients in this area since 1993. We have undertaken a number of assignments addressing the security issues attendant on departments’ transition to shared e-business architectures, and in compliance with CESG and other agency policy directives forming the basis for ISO27001. We have built a rounded capability spanning ‘business’ aspects of security (such as governance, competence building, processes, physical, data handling, risk management) as well as ‘technical’ aspects (architecture, data exchange, compliance, audits, testing).
At any one time we typically have between 15-20 CLAS consultants assigned to government projects. Such consultancy often involves architecting and designing solutions related to security and identity management, including intrusion detection and prevention, remote access, firewalls, encryption, SecureID, PKI and vulnerability management. However, we are often asked for consultancy advice on current trends and emerging technologies, applying these within integrated security architectures including single sign-on and role based access control.
