Methods Consulting awarded NHS Scotland framework contract
Methods Consulting is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a framework contract with NHS Scotland / National Service Scotland (NSS) for e-Health Consultancy Services.
Methods has a growing health practice and this win, together with our other healthcare consulting and services frameworks - with the Department of Health/NHS PASA (Consultancy Services Framework), OGC (Catalist) and Connecting for Health (ASCC) - re-enforces our position as one of the leading players in the UK health sector, particularly relating to information management, informatics and related implementation programmes.
Alan Buffett, Methods’ Business Manager for Healthcare said “the award of this contract builds upon the considerable capability and demonstrated success we have achieved in support of the ‘National Programme for IT’ in England and the ‘Informing Healthcare’ programme in Wales. It recognises Methods’ ability to provide highly effective business, management and IT consultancy across a wide range of areas, to help clients to meet the challenges of national and local healthcare reform agendas.”
Dr Karen Ma, Methods’ Head of Clinical Integration added “this framework will allow us to offer support to all Scottish healthcare organisations to assist them in identifying and implementing the necessary system and process upgrades and improvements to deliver NSS policies, tailored to meet Scottish health needs and learning from the experiences of other similar national programmes.”
Methods works extensively with the UK public sector and has worked with the Scottish Government, the NHS in Scotland, and a number of UK-wide departments and agencies in Scotland, including DWP and HMRC.
In healthcare, in addition to work with the national IM&T programmes in England and Wales, Methods has also worked with a number of SHAs, Acute trusts and PCTs on various clinical, operational and business change programmes, as well as work for various Arms Length Bodies and Health Agencies.
