Methods Consulting qualifies for a major MoD consulting framework
Methods Consulting one of only ten companies to be awarded 2-year ISS contract
19 November 2007, London – Methods Consulting, a top 20 UK-based consultancy company, has today announced that it is one of only ten companies to be awarded an enabling contract for the provision of IS business management consultancy services by the UK MoD’s Information Systems and Services’ (ISS) ICS Catalogue.
ISS, part of Defence Equipment & Support (DE&S), is responsible for the delivery of Information and Communication Services (ICS) across the Ministry of Defence. Under the terms of the two-year contract, which commences on 01 February 2008, Methods Consulting is a supplier of the following consultancy services to the Defence Community:
- Business Planning and Corporate Strategy Development
- Business Process and Change Management
- IS Strategy
- Information and Knowledge Management
- Customer Relationship Management.

This announcement is the latest in a series of key MoD framework contracts won by Methods Consulting. In October, the company announced that it had secured its position as an accredited supplier of business and technical services under the Framework Agreement for Technical Services (FATS/2), which provides a straightforward route for procuring a wide range of business and technical services for a number of MoD organisations, in particular, DE&S.
Methods Consulting has continuously supplied IS and business management consultancy support to the MoD and armed services for the last 15 years. This has included successful work for a wide range of clients including – Central Staffs, DE&S (and its predecessors – MoD(PE), DPA and DLO (incl. Medical Supplies Agency, Defence Communication Services Agency, etc.)), Defence Estates, and the three services including Land Command, Air Command and Fleet/Second Sea Lord.
As one of the top 20 consultancy companies in the UK, Methods Consulting’s services can now be accessed through a variety of commercial routes such as the DWP CIPHeR, Catalist, as well as a number of local frameworks and contracts held in addition to those with ISS.
