Senior Consultant - NHS Commissioning - specifically expertise in Practice Based Commissioning, South East

We require an experienced consultant with NHS experience to assist in the development of requirements working with a PBC cluster. New Business Development, London

To continue the rapid growth of the Company’s healthcare consulting business, a new post has been created for a business developer/hunter, to find and secure new business opportunities across the Health sector. The primary focus will be on informatics/IT and management consultancy, to support clients in undertaking the changes in information requirements/systems and processes, associated with new health and social care policies and targets, and the rollout of the NHS National Programme for IT.

The role will be largely client facing, covering the Dept of Health, NHS Connecting for Health, ‘Arm’s Length Bodies’ and Health Agencies, and increasingly, SHA’s and Trusts. It will involve working with the Business Manager Healthcare, to develop a strategy to market our services into new client areas, and then to implement this strategy to win profitable new business. As such, the successful candidate will spend the majority of the time with Health sector clients, establishing/building relationships, identifying and qualifying opportunities, assisting in proposal preparation (working with the rest of the Healthcare team) and closing sales.

Health Informatics Consultant, London

Given the rapid growth of the Company’s healthcare consulting business, and the number of opportunities now arising for consultancy support to the NHS, a new post has been created for a health informatics consultant, to assist the Healthcare team in the further development/delivery of the business. The role will involve the provision of knowledge and experience of the types of information used and needed by the DH, NHS and related bodies, in their operational and management activities, and of the processes and systems which handle such information.

The main function of the informatics consultant will be to use such knowledge to support the Business Manager and Healthcare team staff in undertaking strategy development, sales, bidding and project management, for projects primarily delivering client side support to the organisational, process and IT change agenda currently underway across the UK health sector. This will also involve liaison with clients, consultants, and possibly sub-contractors (where used). Client will include - the Dept of Health, NHS Connecting for Health, ‘Arm’s Length Bodies’ and Health Agencies, and increasingly, Health Authorities and Trusts. There may be opportunities to undertake part-time, fee earning, external consultancy roles on some of these projects (subject to the demands of the internal support role).

Information Security Analyst, Leeds

This person will complete an Information Asset Register and subsequent risk management. They will also support the completion of a corporate information security policy. The successful candidate will possess experience of Information Security Policies using ISO 27001 in a government environment, risk management, project management and have a sound understanding of issues involved in handing / processing personal and sensitive data.

Senior Financial Consultant, South East

Methods has established a team of consultants working with a PCT to deliver integrated commissioning. We require a Financial Consultant (who has previous experience as either a Finance Director or Assistant Director of an NHS Trusts – either a PCT or Acute Trust) to join the team. This may have been working in an interim capacity. The team has the challenge of delivering business change across the PCT as well as managing a number of commissioning projects. You will need a minimum of 10 years experience and at least 3 years recently in an NHS environment (within primary care trusts or acute environments).
