Procurement and client side consulting
As a consultancy wholly independent of software or other providers, Methods Consulting frequently provides clients with comprehensive, end-to-end support throughout all phases of the procurement lifecycle – as well as providing ad hoc assistance with particular elements as required. Such assistance can involve developing a requirements catalogue, performing an evaluation of what is available in the current market, developing an ITT, evaluating tenders, selecting a supplier, setting service level agreements, drafting measurable contracts, and ensuring delivery – including post-implementation review.
Our consultants are also able to implement appropriate management checks and balances – including ensuring that the required funding remains in place and that the project remains well supported within the business throughout procurement process. Within the public sector, this may include piloting a procurement through Gateway procedures, as well as establishing ITIL frameworks for service delivery contracts. Our consultants are familiar with PPP, PFI, outsourcing initiatives and the original market testing guidelines.
