Bristol City Council launched the Landlord Transformation Programme as an initiative to modernise the council’s Social Landlord service and create a more efficient housing service. As part of a larger transformation to invigorate and improve the council’s customer services, it was imperative that the initiative was successful and delivered substantial cost savings.

Solution

Methods provided enterprise architecture expertise to create a plan for the transition to the client’s Target Operating Model. In addition, we also defined a governance framework to align investment and resources to the strategic priorities and created a framework for managing roll-out across all areas.

Result

The programme is establishing short-term and longer-term benefits to Bristol City Council and its housing service users. This has led to a high-quality, customer-centric service.
