The UK Border Agency needed strategic support with its e-Borders programme, which provides electronic collection and analysis of information on all passengers entering or leaving the UK, by air, sea or rail. The secure handling of this information is critical.

Solution

Methods has provided advice on the e-Borders programme and its predecessor projects for several years. These high profile projects deal with large volumes of sensitive information about passengers, including names, dates of birth and passport details.

We are currently delivering CLAS security consultancy to support the Security & Technical Design Authority. We are also working with suppliers to ensure security policy and procedures comply with departmental, government, EU and international standards.
