The Informatics Service for NHS Wales is looking to modernise health service delivery and give its stakeholders better access to information for shared decision making. The service aims to get ICT resources working together more closely to support a consistent approach to health informatics and promote new ways of working.

Solution

Methods has worked with NHS Wales Informatics since 2005, and, in this time, we have placed numerous specialist consultants. We have worked with the client on a number of projects, including one high profile project designed to provide clinicians with a summary of patients’ records in an out-of-hours setting. We also have associates working on a service initiative to improve the quality and availability of patients’ cancer histology information across Wales.

Result

We have filled a number of difficult roles on short notice, enabling fast-paced projects to continue on time and to budget. Our relationship with the client spans several years, and, as such, our consultants are trusted to work on many life-saving projects.
