Methods ServiceNow NextGen apprenticeship programme update

By Trudy Beharry10 February 20221 min read

In 2020, the Methods ServiceNow Apprentice initiative launched.  We worked with the ServiceNow NextGen scheme to take on emerging young ServiceNow and Service Desk talent who had undertaken NextGen’s “Can-Do-Digital” training programme.  Our first intake of 5 permanent junior recruits joined Methods in August 2020, and I am pleased to report that all are now settled at Methods and working on our Managed Services accounts in ServiceNow System Administrator, ServiceNow Developer, and Service Desk Analyst roles:

Take a bow – Jake Wilkins, Akbar Raja, Jayden Patten, Haaris Hussain and Kabir Singh

With covid challenges having dominated the past 2 years, ServiceNow NextGen took time out to re-brand and re-organise.  The revamped NextGen programme was launched in mid-2021, fully funded by the Princes Trust and still with a focus on providing IT work opportunities across the social spectrum.

In a continuation of our journey with ServiceNow and now as an Elite partnerMethods’ ServiceNow Practice remains engaged with the NextGen social initiative, and aligned with Methods’ Gravitate programme to ensure the continued pipeline for regular recruitment of junior ServiceNow talent.  Exciting times, we are assessing a cohort of 10 possible NextGen candidates as we speak!!

The Methods ServiceNow Practice and the Managed Services Portfolio are committed to Methods Social Value Level 1 rating – watch this space!!
