Discussion around the established and evolving NHS datasets being utilised to generate Real World Evidence to support outcomes research. The webinar will also focus on a selection of disease-specific datasets and how organisations can use them to support their research and value stories.
Speaker: Dr. Simon Swift (Managing Director at Methods Analytics)
Simon is the managing director of the Methods Analytics Ltd, a specialist healthcare data analytics company that developed from an NHS team. We undertake a range of activity including bespoke and managed service analytics and creating beautiful digital services and products. Key clients include NHS England, the NHS Improvement GIRFT programme, the Care Quality Commission and a range of hospitals and commissioners. In Lifesciences, we work with partners and the NHS to deliver evidence for value.
Simon works with commercial organisations, clinicians and executives to understand systems, develop solutions to enable them to make informed decisions and deploy system levers.
After qualifying as a doctor, Simon worked as a surgeon before re-training in International Health Policy and Health Economics.
